چکیده

This paper presents the results of route choice models for cyclists in city Zurich. The data includes approx. 4400 cycling trajectories, including 850 from e-bikes. network is sourced Open Street Map (OSM) and set generation based on breadth-first search link elimination (BFSLE) algorithm. We present descriptive statistics model which specifically point out difference between regular provide a simple path size Logit (PSL) more complex mixed PSL, both estimated Value-of-Distance (VoD) space, suited to directly derive VoD indicators. show anticipated effects infrastructure, speed limits, traffic signals, gradients volumes. Numerous interaction shed light taste heterogeneity.

Route Choice in Road Networks - Observing and Modelling Route Choice

Until now transport planners and modellers have little information on the actual route choice in road networks as route choice is difficult to observe. The paper presents various techniques for observing route choice (floating car data, mobile phone data, automatic number plate recognition systems, bluetooth detection) and shows results of route choice observations. Based on the analysis of the...

A GIS-based decision support system for analysis of route choice in congested urban road networks

Urban congestion patterns have become ubiquitous and complex. Traditional, “static” approaches are no longer adequate for analyzing network flows and conducting minimum cost routing. This paper reports on a GIS-based decision support tool for modeling dynamic network congestion and conducting minimum cost routing. The system predicts network flows at a detailed level of temporal resolution, cap...

Route Choice on Transit Networks with Online Information at Stops

Passengers on a transit network with common lines are often faced with the problem of choosing between either to board the arriving bus or to wait for a faster one. Many assignment models are based on the classical assumption that at a given stop passengers board the first arriving carrier of a certain subset of the available lines, often referred to as the attractive set. In this case, it has ...
